ShipCalm provides a data warehouse that can be used with modern spreadsheets or BI tools like Looker, Data Studio, Tablue and PowerBI
If you're interested in getting data from ShipCalm the easiest way to access your data is through the ShipCalm data warehouse. In this example, we'll discuss using a google sheet to connect.
1) Before getting started, make sure to email support@shipcalm.com with your email address to ensure that it has been granted access to our data warehouse.
2) Open up a google sheet and click on the Data > Connect to BigQuery. While this example shows google sheets the steps will be similar for any tool:
3) If you have access you should see ShipCalm Customer. In other tools you might need to enter the ID of shipcalm-customer into the tool for the project name.
4) Next you can click on the mavin_delivers data set.
5) Finally, you can select the type of data you're interested in. In this example we'll use Shipments. After that, simply click connect and there you go! You now have a live feed of data on shipments.
